2018-11-14 Query Questions and Moving Rooms

I'm finished with my week of on-call so now it's time to catch my
breath and figure out what else needs to be done now that I have time
to do it. I got to dig into a weird but interesting issue around why
one of our reports wasn't picking up records that it should be (at
least to me at this point). I wasn't able to find a solution yet so
I've asked the vendor if they have any ideas. I'm sure I'm missing
something obvious.

I don't think I had time to mention it but exciting things are
happening at home! My children have been sharing the second-largest of
four bedrooms in our house for the last couple years. The other two
smaller rooms, which were originally designated as rooms for the kids
when they were born, were used as a play room and our office. Now,
both children have agreed that they would like to move back into their
own rooms again. They don't really fight but they're getting older and
are now wanting their own space. Last weekend, we converted the play
room back into a bedroom for my older child and moved them in, leaving
our younger one in the larger room by themselves. This weekend, we
swap the office and the younger child's bedroom. This is a bigger job
in that we need to move two rather large custom pine bookcases full of
books over to their new location. Each bookcase is at least 2 metres
tall and requires us to zig-zag between all the rooms on the second
floor to change their locations. Of course, we need to unapck all the
books and remove all the shelves. This, of course, is a perfect
opportunity to reorganize the shelves, as we have all sorts of
additional books and assorted momentos sitting on the shelves in front
of the formally shelved books. Hopefully, by the end of the weekend
we'll be all moved. My younger child will get their bedroom back and
the whole family will get a library/office/reading space.

I guess that's all for now. Thanks for reading! :)
