Writing about: Social Media and the Internet

There's an email list called "The Naive Weekly",
reporting on the quiet, odd and poetic web,
in their own words. Recently, they made a
thought on the value of Social Media and the
alternative that personal websites could bring.

They make an interesting take on that Social
Media is evil an all that bad stuff. Not
indulging on that as if you're reading this
phlog, you'd probably agree.

Their stand on Personal Websites is more
interesting. In a nutshell they say personal
websites are cool and all, but they'd say
that for people to collaborate on online
projects, as a mainstream effort...

Now, that would be way better news. Could
it be in a, I don't know, tildes? Yeah,
probably not in a mainstream fashion, but
tildes could be among them. Perhaps wikis
too, and indeed wikipedia, with all its
drama etc, it's a very good place, all things
considered.

I'd say the web was made for people to
help each other, not to "help" some "big
corporation / brother / dear leader".

I hope I can work in that regard.
Though I'm week and not a hacker.
