it was rainy all day today. warm enough to just leave the front door open and let the fresh air in while listening to the rain outside. a little lightning later in the day, but otherwise a fairly tame storm
I've had a busy week. about a week ago my parents visited for dinner- then a few nights later i had dinner with my boss and his family. Yesterday, a couple of our friends from up north arrived to stay for the week. They received a christmas gift in the form of a pair of amtrak tickets which basically go as far as you please within some time period. stopping first in NY, then chicago, california, and now here- seems like theyre having a good trip so far, and niw they'll be staying here for the week until we drive em back up at the end. I'd like to take a trip like that sometime, but I should focus on my work for now.
last night we drove em around while enjoying the rain, today we visited a few shops and things- went grocery shopping with em which was a fun time. we played super smash bros last night and monopoly tonight. i think i was being a bit too much of a sore loser during monopoly and may have ruined the vibe. oh well, im tired
