Roy -

Eric forwarded this to me, and I've responded on dfw.general.
I know from Doug that Mr. Parker has been trying to make others
believe his claims.  We were in no way bound to each other by contract.
He was give root access on sdf to help out.  When I realized the system
was taking a turn that I did not like I had to remove him.  I really
do not need to go into the details about why he was removed, because
it does not matter.  He still sends me messages saying "have fun with
your stolen equipment" ... he never put anything into sdf besides time.

Eric suspected the above paragraph to be just 'hot air'.  But I want
to know.  SDF did crash recently, and I am sure Steven Parker was pointing
his finger saying 'incompetent!' ..  But the fact is, that I am not.  I
have been working very hard at restoring what I could, getting a new
disk and modems, configuring the multi I/O board that had very little
technical information ... and terrible tech support.  SDF has always
resided at my residence, with it's bills in MY name.  All hardware
purchasing has been done by me, and almost a 700 mb ESDI with a bad
spindle motor for $550 that sp tried to get me to buy.

If you believe him, I will not be upset or angry with you because I
really do not know you.

Stephen
