NOW: Watching that old spy series from '65 "The Avengers"

You might recall my 'emulator' (more like 'simulator'
really) for the "Little Man Computer". Find a link on my
root gophermap. I had hoped to use it as a project to learn
ANSI C. I had always understood that C was a very 'low
level' language and I assumed it would thus be a perfect
match with implementing the LMC. After a month I got fed-up
with a couple of stumbling blocks and the mountain of
mind-bending minutia they entailed. So yesterday I
re-implemented the thing in Python 2.
Why Python 2 you ask? Well I just figured that 2 being only
66% of 3, I had a 50% greater chance of getting it to work.
I know, cunning right? My next chore is to tidy-up the code
and comment it more fully.
Trying to stretch our food reserve till May 9th. We can do
it I think. Perhaps variety will start to suffer in a couple
weeks. Heading out to a wild parsnip patch I know hoping to
find some second year babies ready to gather.
