I don't understand why the scum of the Earth like drug addicts,
gamblers, etc. are coddled and "felt sorry for" in today's society. I
was watching a video that talked about sports gambling. I hate sports
gambling. The fucking annoying shitheads that are crying "Don't ruin
my parlay" and "I need another TD!" because they are playing games
with their money is annoying. Keep your degeneracy and stupidity to
yourself, you fucking moron.

And to all the fucktards who think addiction is a disease, no it's
fucking not, at least not how most people would describe it. A disease
can't be stopped by pure willpower. Pneumonia doesn't go away because
you choose not to have pneumonia. Addiction does. I used to suck my
thumb as a kid. It was bad enough that I got braces. I don't suck my
thumb anymore. You know why? Because I decided not to. Same with
gambling or being a drug addict. Just because something is difficult
to quit doesn't mean it's a disease.

What's worse is society has decided that mocking and vilifying these
complete morons is "rude," "mean," "uncalled for." I disagree. If
shitty, stupid behavior is tolerated, society becomes shittier and
stupider. Why the fuck should anyone let people get away with typing
"loose" when they mean "lose"?

JacksFilms had a series (maybe it's still going) called Your Grammar
Sucks. It rightfully made fun of people who absolutely butcher the
English language because it used to be only like 10-20% of comments
instead of 80%. Now if you make fun of someone for an obvious typo, or
even merely point out the correct spelling, it's "rude."

Fuck off. Being stupid should be persecuted. Spreading misinformation,
intentional or not, is bad. Why the fuck do we need to protect the
fucking shitstains that are bringing down society? I'm not saying you
can't end a clause with a preposition or have to use the correct who
vs. whom every time. I'm not even talking about using the dash instead
of a hyphen. I'm talking about "I've never read a book before" English
butchery. Basic words. Basic fucking punctuation. I don't give a rat's
ass if your phone automatically puts spaces after every
autocorrection: fix your fucking grammar before you post, you lazy,
ignorant piece of shit.

South Park had an episode called "Raising the Bar." It bemoaned the
then-current state of affairs with idiotic shows like Honey Boo-Boo
and behaviors like eating heaps of garbage food is spotlit and
monetized. Acting like a complete shithead should not be encouraged or
highlighted in anything but a bad light. Even then, contrarians (I'm
probably one) would think being bad is worth emulating.

Why the fuck is being a recovering meth addict considered brave or
awesome? The "awesome" people are the (hopefully) 99% of the
population that never used meth, a fucking notable dangerous drug. But
you want to give credit to someone who fucked up their own life,
probably hurt their parents and stole money because they are not
currently being a piece of shit who at best is only funding drug
dealers and not doing anything to directly harm others?

I hate how society has become where having certain sane opinions (like
you can't change your sex) is a firable offense. The broad definition
of what constitutes a disability is also ridiculous.

And yes, I'm aware that I make grammatical mistakes sometimes in these
glog posts. When I see them, I fix them. That's the difference: I want
to improve and I will at least attempt to fix things when I get them
wrong. The younger folks have no desire to be any better because
they've been incorrectly taught that sucking is perfectly acceptable.
