Living in a small city allows me to get
around on a bicycle. In good weather, I ride
a road bike with tires that lots of folks say
are too skinny. In bad weather, a big, heavy,
hungarian-made MTB.
LIFE
I also like animals. On the weekends, I spend
a couple hours at the local dog pound to walk
dogs. This being the case, I do not eat much
meat.
INTERNET
I remember when the public internet was new.
I would go over to a friends house and we
would surf the web with dial-up AOL. Over the
years, I've had some great experiences with
other people via the internet.
Slowly things have changed. The internet is
no longer an information service or a
communications platform. It is a global
surveillence network that manipulates the
emotions and feelings of its users for profit
or political gains.
SPACE
Fed up with the http-net, I departed the WWW
for circumlunar.space on the gopher-net.
