47 - Saw a big helicopter.
[email protected]

Weather's been clear and  cold and dry lately, and
so the field  has dried out some. Pete  and I were
out there throwing the football the other day. You
know,  catch  is  great for  covid  times.  You're
standing far apart, but  it's back and forth, it's
reciprocal, it's mutual. It's good.

And then  off in the distance  above the mountains
beyond the north  shore of the inlet,  we hear and
see  this helicopter.  One of  those big  two-prop
army kinds,  like a Chinook, and  it's lifting out
something large on a chain  from the center of its
fuselage.  We can't  tell  what. And  it makes  me
think  back to  that unexplained  train I  saw the
other week, with the  soldiers and big machines on
it. And  its weird,  but I  never put  it together
until  just  this  day,  that back  when  I  first
started  seeing those  trains,  was  when I  first
noticed  seeing   the  Olds  appearing   here  and
there. And  I don't  know if that  means anything,
but it's  funny how  the relative timing  of stuff
doesn't always click with me.

Anyways,  we were  stopped  and  listening to  the
thud-thud-thud  of  that far-off  helicopter,  and
then we  see a huge  blue dragon flying  down fast
from  above  a  cloud.  And  its  going  for  that
helicopter, coming down fast. When it's closer, it
spits out like  a fire bolt or  something, and the
helicopter  takes it  right  on the  top. And  its
listing and trailing smoke  and before we know it,
it's down  on the mountainside in  a fireball. You
don't see  that every  day around  here. We  go on
home after that, because that's sure quite a thing
to take in on a Wednesday.
