Legal Scholars To Debate Second Amendment: Constitutional Law Scholars
from law schools across the country will reflect on the Second Amendment
and the Supreme Court petition for a writ of certiorari in District of

8:30-10:15 a.m. during the Association of American Law Schools (AALS)

Missouri Castle Doctrine May Soon Be Tested In Court: Since Thursday,

apparent self-defense, and a second would-be robber faces charges that
include murder...On Saturday, prosecutors charged Reese with

Random-Gunfire Death Gave Arizona Poorly Written Law: ...A cry went out
for legislation that would put an end to celebratory gunfire, and
Arizona lawmakers answered the following year with Shannon's Law, which
made it a felony to shoot a gun in the air in an urban area of the
state... (The law does not even mention intentionally discharging a
firearm into the air but gives anti-RKBA prosecutors the option of a
felony charge for a simple act of negligence that causes no injury.
We've seen at least one attempt to do that very thing.)
