Evidence Says Gun Laws Don't Work: Michael Brown, of Doctors for
Sensible Gun Laws, debunks a recent editorial that attacked the NRA and
the RKBA. "Anyone who knows how to visit the FBI Web site can tell you
that the most dangerous places in the United States often are the places
with the strictest gun laws. Gun laws overseas have been no more
successful."

Minnesota Debates Stand-Your-Ground Bill: Gun-rights advocates say the
measure grants law-abiding citizens the right to defend themselves
against attackers without being forced to retreat. Opponents say it
grants people the right to "shoot first, ask questions later" and could
turn Minnesota into the Wild West. (The Wild West was a live show
produced by Buffalo Bill Cody - gunfights were actually fairly rare on
the American frontier.)

Oops, Wrong Store: For the second time in a week in Ohio, a store clerk
fought back against would-be robbers. "I seen these guys storm in with
their guns. I dropped the phone, backed away, drew my gun and fired two
shots and just tried to get them out of the store," said Clive Weidle,
the store clerk...I've had this happen before," he said. "I shot two
guys in here in 2001. They came in with guns pointing at my chest.
(They) put the customers on the floor at gunpoint and I came out blazing."
