Rule Three  Reminder: Delivering a grim reminder that "It's all
Hollywood," a northeast Minnesota man is dead because he tried twirling
a loaded revolver on his finger while showing the gun off to a friend.
In the cowboy movies, they do that sort of thing with empty sixguns.
Dead is Allen Lee Cooke, 36, of Lakewood Township, which is located
northeast of Duluth. According to WCCO in Minneapolis, the mishap
occurred at about 3 a.m. on the morning of Nov. 9. Cooke died from a
single gunshot wound to the chest. Alcohol was not a factor in the
shooting, the report said. (Rule Three: Keep your finger out of the
trigger guard, up on the frame, until your sights are on the target and
you're prepared to fire.)
