Even In Los Angeles: A downtown jeweler, despite a wound to his hand,
killed one robber and shot the other in the neck. (While the article
fails to state which hand was wounded, it's worth noting that guns and
the hands that hold them often get struck by bullets in gunfights.)

No Second-Place Winner...: The owner of an automobile detailing business
in South Carolina and a robber both died from wounds from a gunfight.

South African Gun Owners Could Face Prison: Close to half a million
South African firearm owners, properly licensed under an older law,
could face penalties up to ten years in prison if they fail to obtain
new licenses under a newer law. Part of the problem is that officials
have not only raised standards, they are dragging their feet on issuing.

Attention Tucson:
(This arrived last night from Tucson RKBA activist Ken Rineer.)
Dear rkba enthusiast:
I am sending this to the entire list. If you do not live in Tucson,
please forward it to someone who does.
Just a reminder that tomorrow, the city of Tucson will elect two council
member's. This election could change the makeup of our council as it
relates to the right to keep and bear arms.
Other jurisdictions are holding elections as well and I hope you know
who the pro-rights candidates are!
Please, vote in tomorrow's election.
When you do, vote for:
Fred Ronstadt and Kathleen Dunbar. They are the ONLY pro-firearms owner
candidates running.
REMEMBER, THIS IS BASED ONLY ON THE GUN ISSUE - NO OTHER POSITIONS ARE
TAKEN IN TO ACCOUNT.
The above is my opinion and does not represent the opinion of any
organization, group, corporation, etc.
Sincerely,
Ken Rineer
