officials must have finally started taking seriously a state law that
prohibits firearms on campus. That's at least how things appear, since
the university has confiscated the pistol belonging to Pete, the
longtime mascot. They've also stripped "Pistol" from Pete's name.

Interesting Case Pending In Las Vegas: An Iraq-war veteran faces charges
of murder and attempted murder in a shooting in which a pistol and three
ejected cases, believed to belong to one of the people he shot, were
found by police. It appears that he may have been charged, in part,
