What Do We Know About John Roberts?: The man nominated for the current
vacancy on the US Supreme Court is referred to as a "stealth nominee."
Little appears to be known about him other than that he is highly
regarded as a lawyer. Even the NRA-ILA does not seem to have much to say
about his position on the RKBA, directing people to a vague report from
The Wall Street Journal. Here are three opinions about where Roberts
might take the Court:

US Border Patrol Could Form Auxiliary: Customs and Border Protection
Commissioner Robert C. Bonner told The Associated Press that his agency
has focused on involving citizens after noting the willingness of
volunteers to help federal agents catch illegal immigrants. "The Border
Patrol does this every day, and they are qualified and very well-trained
to handle the situation," Bonner said in February, noting that the
Minutemen planned to carry firearms. "Ordinary Americans are not. So
there's a danger that not just illegal migrants might get hurt, but that
American citizens might get hurt in this situation." (The Minutemen
required (a) that its participants possess a valid CWP, to ensure that
they had a clean background and (b) that all firearms be kept concealed
unless actually being used in self-defense.)
