Getting Close: Article goes into further detail about the new Army
weapons training for recruits, part of which involves carrying their
rifles for most of their waking hours, as they would in a combat zone.
Of note, however, is insistence on unloading of the weapons upon return
to the barracks, "the same procedure the soldiers would follow when
returning to a base in Iraq."

Good Aim?: A 64-year-old widow in Florida killed a man who broke a
window to enter her home with a single shot to the chest with her
38-caliber revolver. That's good shooting for what appears to have been
an unaimed shot. Why the paper feels the need to show the location of
her home is beyond me.
