Space Tripper is a frantic side-scrolling 3D shoot-em-up. You have to
battle through 14 levels divided over 4 thematic worlds, each with a
different style and enemies. Each world ends with a huge boss battle.
Carefully balance upgrading your two weapons, or at the end you'll be
hard-pressed to win (hint: focus on the blue one).

 * DL #1: SpaceTripper.dmg ? preinstalled Space Tripper versions for
   Mac OS 9, 10.2 and 10.3 in a .dmg archive.

 * DL #2: SpaceTripper.sit ? direct iso conversion of DL #1 in a
   StuffIt archive for Mac OS 9 friendliness.
Mount this iso image on classic Mac OS systems with [Virtual CD/DVD
Utility][1].

 * DL #3: SpaceTripperDemo.dmg ? Demo of the game in a .dmg archive.

Compatibility
Architecture: PPC

The disk image includes the following versions

 * the original 1.6 release. I don't remember with which Mac OS X
   versions it was compatible, but it was probably Mac OS X 10.1.
   Confirmed to work in Mac OS 9.
 * the 1.83 release, which probably added Mac OS X 10.2 compatibility
 * the 1.84 release, which came in a version that was compatible with
   Mac OS X 10.2.8, and another one which was compatible with Mac OS
   X 10.3 and later (still works on Mac OS X 10.5)

The game consistently crashes after a while when run under Rosetta.
