Smart Game Board is a complete environment for the serious study of
strategies for board games like Othello, Go, Chess, or Nine Men's
Morris. First program of its kind at the end of the 80s, it let you
play, replay, analyze, annotate, save/open, and print games at will.
Smart Othello 4.1 is a subset of Smart Game Board dedicated
specifically to Othello. Two strong game engines from the same author
are embedded inside it: Brand and Peer Gynt. Some of their
characteristics: many levels of play (time), history, advice, referee
mode, self-play, backspace many strokes, game database, modem play,
endgame analysis, etc.
The HyperCard manual of Smart Game Board (Smart Game Help) has been
converted to PDF for more convenience. Non-crippled shareware.
This is not a disc image of the original diskette from the author
(which I can't read for now) but a faithful copy of its content
preserved as a backup on a ZIP cartridge.
