Mission Pack add-on to the Quake II game by id Software and created by
Rogue Entertainment:
Quake II Mission Pack - Ground Zero, requires the [full version of
Quake II][1] to run.

This copy has been extracted from the PC version of the game. It does
not play in the official Classic Mac version of Quake II as it lacks
required native Classic Mac .lib's to enable play.

However: It will play just fine if using the "Fruitz of Dojo" port of
the [Quake II game player][3], made for Mac OS X.

   1. A Mac running Mac OS X 10.0 to 10.6.x (and maybe newer).
   2. Fruitz of Dojo's [Quake II player][3], placed into a folder located anywhere on your HD (e.g. create a "Quake 2" folder and place it there).
   3. The "baseq2" folder from [the original full Quake II game][1] (either Mac or PC version), placed into the same folder as the Fruitz of Dojo's Quake II player.
   4. The "rogue" folder contained in this DL, copied into the same folder as the Fruitz of Dojo's Quake II player.
   5. Copy the "GameMac.q2plug" file for "rogue" from the Fruitz of Dojo's install folder, into the rogue folder in the Quake II game folder on your HD.

If you have, know of, or even if there was an original classic Mac
release of Ground Zero, please consider adding a copy of that CD

Note: Currently plays on Mac OS X systems, only.

To start the Ground Zero mission pack, drag the "rouge" folder onto
the Fruitz of Dojo's Quake II player's icon to launch the game.

The original soundtrack has been saved to .mp3 format. When the game
first launches, you are given a choice to play either CD, MP3 or MP4
files. Choose MP3 and select the included "audio" folder to have the
soundtrack playing during the game.
