"In Need For Speed II the player takes control of eight Super Cars and
races his or her way through six different tracks from Australia to
Nepal. Much like the first in the series, the sequel has plenty of
high performance cars to choose from, including the McLaren F1,
Ferrari F50, Lotus GT1, Jaguar XJ220, Ford GT90, Isdera Commendatore
112i, Italdesign Cala and Lotus Esprit V8, each handling differently."

Originally released on Windows 95 and Sony PSOne in 1997, an Intel
Macintosh fan port is available for download for use with the Special
Edition CD-ROM version for Windows, provided that you have the
original disc for installation. It also translates the 3DFX calls to
OpenGL.
The Intel Macintosh port of this game utilizes any USB gaming
controller such as the PSOne/PS2 adapters and the Logitech MOMO Force
Feedback Racing Wheel for Mac. Any gaming device that previously
worked on Windows using DirectInput will be recognized on this Intel
Macintosh port with no problem, although very few controllers may not
work.
This Intel Macintosh port was tested on a Mid-2009 15-inch MacBook Pro
running Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, and on an iMac 4K 21.5-inch
(2017) running macOS 10.14 Mojave. It will not work on Catalina and
above due to the removal of OpenGL support.
The first download contains version 1.1.1 of the Intel Macintosh port.
The second download contains version 1.1.2 of the Intel Macintosh
port.
The third download contains a custom compiled Intel Leopard build of
v1.1.1.
The fourth download contains a custom compiled Intel Leopard build of
v1.3.0.
The Intel Macintosh port was sourced from here, and is uploaded here
for archival purposes if ever the link is taken down for some reason:
