Monarch Notes on CD-ROM contains all of the Monarch Notes published in
print by Arco, a division of Simon and Schuster, comprising
information on over 200 authors from Chinua Achebe to Emile Zola.
Monarch Notes are similar to Barron's Book Notes or the more widely
distributed Cliff's Notes. These series provide summary information on
either major literary works or major literary figures. While intended
primarily for college students needing a compact overview of the
topic, including such features as a brief authorial biography, plot
summary, compendium of major interpretations, study questions and
bibliography, they can serve others equally well. Anyone interested in
literature can benefit from these introductory or review texts.

This is a hybrid CD-ROM for PC & Mac.

Basilisk likes to crash when you quit DiscPassage applications until
v1.4.5, but works fine otherwise.
Please use [DiscPassage 1.6][4] to avoid this crash.
To get the CD-ROM recognized by DiscPassage, you may need to write-
protect it,
either in your host operating system or within the emulated Mac OS
system.

Using Basilisk, the content listings of this CD-ROM are a bit messy,
but the CD-ROM works fine otherwise in Basilisk.
If you mount both the Data CD partition and the CD-ROM's Audio
partition at the same time, DiscPassage may complain that it "can't
process this disc", because it tries to read the Audio CD partition
first. Simply go to DiscPassage's "File" menu, choose "Disc" and
select the data partition of the CD-ROM to continue.
