This is a software for playing [Go][1], an elegant board game played
for many centuries in Far East countries, mainly China and Japan.
This compressed file is a package of three elements:
1) MacGnuGo 0.5, a Classic Mac OS GUI for the version 2.6 of GNU Go,
already embedded.
2) GnuGo_anymac, a direct port of GNU Go v2.7.71 for the Classic Mac
OS, running only in text mode.
3) Source code for both apps in C programming language.
Some characteristics of MacGnuGo 0.5: board appearance, handicap, komi
and game level are all configurables, self-play, hints, view modes,
save/load SGF files. Freeware.
Compatibility
Architecture: 68k
No information about compatibility but should run with System 7 and
later, considering its release date. Don't know if this program is 68k
only or Fat binary, though.
Tested successfully on:
Basilisk II for Mac OS X w/ System 7.5.5
SheepShaver for Mac OS X w/ Mac OS 9.0.4
