I couldn't find this game here and I saw a request from someone else
for it!
I LOVE THIS GAME! its one of those things that was kicking around when
I was a kid.
..so the search began...and oh yes I did find it, woot!
It's your basic rogue-like game.
What is going on here?
You have just begun a game of rogue. Your goal is to grab as much
treasure as you can, find the Amulet of Yendor, and get out of the
Dungeons of Doom alive. (how badass does that sound?!)
Why you? Well...you have just finished your years as a student at the
local fighters guild. After much practice and sweat you have finally
completed your training and are ready to embark upon a perilous
advernture. (ooooooooooo exciting!!!) As a test of your skills, the
local guildmasters have sent you into the Dungeons of Doom!
Your task is to return with the Amulet of Yendor. Your reward for
completion of this task will be a full membership in the local guild.
In addition you are allowed to keep all the loot you bring back from
the dungeons.
I'm not 100% sure on what systems this is capable of running on, I
know when I was playing it
was Mac OS 7.5. So I will mark it for that. Have tested it personally
only in Basilisk II, not sure
about other emulators.
