Homeworld 2 is a real-time strategy computer game sequel to Homeworld
(originally released for PC only). Long after you returned to Hiigara,
the imperialistic Vaygr, armed with the third hyperspace core (you
have the second) and the false idea of their own divine origins, are
intent on enslaving and destroying your homeworld and your people.
Homeworld 2 continues the Homeworld saga four thousand years into the
future. Control a large space fleet in real-time 3D graphics, using a
brand new engine and new interface improvements. (MobyGames)

Download #1 contains a disc image of the game CD. The game requires a
serial number to install (see picture of the rear CD case) and a
mounted game CD to play.

Download #2 contains the English update to v. 1.1.1

Download #3 contains the German update to v. 1.1.1

Download #4 contains a NoCD. To avoid the need to mount the game CD,
mount the NoCD as a virtual CD using Toast (mounting by double
clicking to invoke DiskImageMounter is not sufficient). Although the
NoCD is convenient because of its small size, it is not really
necessary to play the game as you could also burn a CD from the game
disc image and mount that, or you could mount the game disc image
using Toast in the same way as for the NoCD

Download #5 contains a cracked version 1.1.1. Use this is an
alternative to using the NoCD in the 4th download (i.e. you do not
need both).

The [Homeworld Remastered Collection][1] contains a Mac version of
Homeworld and an updated version of Homeworld 2 both of which require
an Intel Mac and Mac OS X 10.9.5.
