I have another Geneforge 5 from spider web. You have to run the
installer to register the game.

This download needs the serial from mac game store to register the
game.
I have two version to Geneforge 5. I version from mac game store and
other spider web software.
This game from mac Game store is Universal for PPC and Intel. The mac
Game store version runs on Mac OS X 10.39 Panther and Mac OS X 10.4.11
Tiger and Mac OS X Leopard and it might play later.
I Tested my spiderweb software version on Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panther and
Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger and Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard and Mac OS X 10.6.8
Snow Leopard and Mac OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra and They will play on
all systems. They will not play MacOS 10.15 Catalina or later. They
will not installed on Mac OS X 10.2.8 Jaguar.
