Message from the Chief Researcher.
We are now in the midst of the Digital Cultural Revolution: the
constant use of the internet , computer graphics , multi - media and
date bases. This revolution has exploded beyond the boundaries of the
business world to encompass everyday life . Many people have felt
intimidated by this intrusion , but there is no need to feel that way
I wanted to have this Retrospective to relax and warm up the organic
computer that we were born with to allow it open up to stimulation ,
information and inspiration from the Digital Culture . I have used
framework of the ? Fukuda 1 2 8 bit Computer ? to exhibit artwork in a
refreshing way . After you have viewed this show , hopefully your mind
will have softened towards the multi - media world . And as this world
continues to develop , I?m hoping you?ll be right there , taking
advantage of it.
