Internet chess client, for online play only. Fixation is a chess
client for the Internet Chess Club (ICC) and Free Internet Chess
Server (FICS), and chess.net (limited support). Fixation requires an
active TCP/IP connection to the Internet in order to use it on these
sites. Fixation only runs on Macintosh computers -- there are no plans
to port Fixation to any other platform.

Fixation is freeware

 * 2nd DL: is Fixation 1.4.1 (1998) The final version released by
   Adam Miller.
 * 3rd DL: Source code for Fixation 1.4.1 - This & 2nd DL, version
   1.4.1 was located via the Internet Archive's [Wayback Machine][1].

Note: Download links for versions earlier than 2.3a1 listed at Craig's
site, appear to be broken. His site is also not archived on the
