A very addictive arcade game, much like Centipede. Destroy diamond
blocks, collect power ups and destroy the worm thing before it gets to
the bottom of the screen, you godda be quick! Nice music and pretty
graphics.

Deep within the nuclear ground Fireworms breed. They soak up minerals
that are necessary for the survival of the human race. Your job is to
rid the tunnels of these ferocious Fireworms. The Fireworms creep and
crawl through the mineral field searching for humans to feed on. But
they are blind, and, while they cannot see you, they will eat you if
they run into you! As you blast your way through each tunnel you'll
clear our mineral barriers. Occasionally, a mineral barrier will yield
a vital ore that will activate special guns on your ship. The
Fireworms have friends, so watch out for their allies.

A newer version of Firefall for Mac OS X is in included in [Pangea
Arcade.][1]

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

Needs at least System 6.0.7 & 256 colors. Everything from a Mac LC up
is fine.

According to Pangeasoft's webpage on the subject: It should run on any
PowerPC Macintosh running OS 9, and it may work in OS X's Classic
mode, but maybe not. Sometimes the first time you launch it in Classic
the screen will be garbled. If you run it again, it will be fine.
