CCME is one of only a few fan-made modding applications developed for
the Macintosh version of Command & Conquer during its original run in
the mid-to-late 1990s. Although the editor was never finished, it
remains rather robust, and is the closest thing to a fully-fledged map
editor for Mac C&C that is available.
CCME utilizes a simple point-and-click interface and includes a
detailed manual. Besides walking the reader through the interface and
the functionality of the program, the manual also addresses some of
the more esoteric details of the game required for creating functional
missions.
Future updates were promised but sadly never materialized.
The manual is in HTML format and opens natively in Netscape Navigator.
