Yahoo! acquired the rights to Konfabulator from Arlo Rose and Perry Clarke in 2005 and distributed it for free under the new name, "[Yahoo! Widgets][1] (Wikipedia).

In May, 2006, a Universal binary of the Yahoo! Widget Engine, version
3.1.4, became available to users of Intel-based Macintosh computers.

Yahoo! Widgets was produced for both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
Development of Yahoo! Widgets ended in April, 2012.
