This is a utility that appears to have been developed for the
Blackbird (PowerBook 5xx) testing process. It was recently recovered
from the original HD of the PowerBook 520 prototype I purchased in
September 2020.
For PowerBook 5xx units, it can identify the display type, CPU board
version, presence of a flash ROM, ROM version, and ROM size. It does
not do this for other Macs to my knowledge.
