Back in the mid 1990's, right when the WWW Internet was emerging,
there was a thing called HTML maps. What that allowed a webmaster to
do is to define clickable zones in an image, so that any arbitrary
shape could be a different HTML link.

WebMap is a HTML mapping tool that lets you visually draw those HTML
maps and then export the HTML markup so that you could easily embed it
in your HTML document.

Just thinking about this tool is a time capsule in and out of itself.
Nobody has been designing websites like this for decades!
