(full or demo)
UTini is a helpfull tool to keep track of your settings for Unreal
Tournament. It offers the modification of some more properties than
the standard preferences dialog provides and additional functions to
handle cache files and UMODs. UTini is splitted into five parts:
VideoManager
The VideoManager lets you set the basic graphic settings like
resolution, color depth, render devidce, skin and texture details?
Also you can adjust your lightings and the specific settings for the
render devices (Software, Glide, Rave, OpenGL).
AudioManager
Additional to the standard preferences the AudioManager lets you set
properties like effects channels, output rate, latency, doppler speed
and ambient factor.
MODManager
The MODManager is not ready yet. It's propose will be to add and
remove UMODs. (not available in alpha versions)
ServerManager
The main function of the ServerManger is to add and remove server
packages, so you can determine which packages clients have to
download.
CacheManager
This Manager lets you set the cache's size and the amount of days a
file will be kept in cache. Also it has a fuction to cleanup the cache
folder, i. e. the files will be renamed and moved into the right
folder.
note: UTini requires that Unreal Tournament has run once before. UTini
is still alpha - so if your "Unreal Tournament.ini" file gets
corrupted you can replace it with the "Default.ini" file located in
the system folder.
