Twelve-C is a Desk Accessory (DA) that emulates an HP 12c financial
calculator (released in 1981), including programming features and
offers an option to display all registers. Originally created by
Richard Reich of Dreams of the Phoenix, Inc., the program was released
on Sept. 1, 1985 and sold for $39.95. It was advertised as working
even on a 128K Macintosh. Twelve-C was later sold by Positive Works,
Inc. Internet Archive hosts a full-page [MacUser magazine
advertisement][1].

You will need [Font/DA Mover][2] to add the DA to your the boot floppy
or hard disk of your choice (System 6 & below).

If you are using System 7, simply double-click the DA suitcase, then
when a window opens showing you the app inside, drag the app out. Then
you can put the app into your Apple Menu Items folder for easy
launching.

FULL VERSION CREDITS
Mark Jozaitis of MacEffects obtained an original working copy (fully
packaged) and supplied it to Jonathan Adar for imaging. Jonathan
created the DC42 and MOOF images. The disk was locked and kept away
from magnets during the process, ensuring an ideal archive from the
original media.
