Turbo Ware Utilities is a collection of utility programs that were
bundled with various drives from PLI. The first is the application
TurboOptimizer (also rendered as Turbo Optimizer), a file
defragmentation ("optimization") utility for the Macintosh. Also
included are the CDEVs TurboCache, a disk cache utility, and
TurboMonitor, a disk monitoring utility that keeps track of the
average amount of head movement between file fragments on the hard
drive. All three could also be purchased separately as commercial
products in their own right
