Test Character Generator, also known as TCG, is the pack-in software
that comes bundled with Larry Pina's book Macintosh Printer Secrets.
It is meant to be used for testing and diagnostics of common Apple
printers from the period.

Disk was imaged from original media as a 400k DiskCopy 4.2 disk image,
compressed with StuffIt 1.5.1, and encoded as BinHex 4.0.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

Requires a Macintosh 512k or better and a 400k floppy disk drive or
larger. Compatible with a Lisa/Macintosh XL running MacWorks.

If a printer driver is not found, some functions of TCG will be
unavailable.

Will not run from a locked disk (or disk image). Unlock the diskette
first, or copy to your hard drive.
