TechTool is a handy utility which:

? Rebuilds the desktop. Saves file and folder "Get Info" comments
(v1.1.5 or later).
? Zaps the PRAM
? Tests for damaged system files
? Displays devices on the local network
? Properly cleans your floppy drive with a floppy drive cleaning kit
(v1.1.4 or later)
? Displays system information about your Macintosh

TechTool 1.2.1 is compatible with up to Mac OS 9.0.4 US and will test
that system version for damage. Compatibility with international
versions of 9.0.4 were promised to be available at a later date.

DL #1 is version 1.2.1, released in 2000.
DL #2 is version 1.1.9, released in 1999.
DL #3 is version 1.1.8 Installer, released in 1999.
DL #4 is version 1.1.7, released in March 1998.
DL #5 is version 1.1.6, released in February 1998.
DL #6 is version 1.1.3, released in 1997.
DL #7 is version 1.1.2, released in 1996.
DL #8 is version 1.1.1, released in 1996.
DL #9 is version 1.0.9, released in 1995.
DL #10 is version 1.0.6, released in 1994.
DL #11 is version 1.0.4, released in 1994.

These versions of Micromat TechTool may still be useful because of
their small footprint.
