This is the first version of CROSSWORD COMPANION� for the MAC. All the
accumulated wisdom of the thousands of teachers with whom we have come
in contact is built into the program, which has been thoroughly tested
in schools. We wanted a program easy and fun enough to be used right
out of the box by teachers and students of all levels and learning
styles, and yet powerful and flexible enough to let you and your
students create gobs of imaginative, engaging crosswords in minutes!
In short, we set out to make the premier crossword publishing program
specifically for education. The students and teachers from grades 1-12
who helped us initially test CROSSWORD COMPANION� all came out with
wonderful printed puzzles (within the time of a single class period,
without even being told how to use the program!), and told us we had
succeeded. They of course also wanted us to pack the program with even
more features. We were more than happy to oblige, and we know you'll
see the results in your own print outs!
