Back when owning a Macintosh computer was about creating things with
it (and less about hoarding them) different game development systems
battled against each other for the average user's attention. Systems
like [World Builder][1], [GameMaker][2] and others come to mind.
TADS (Text Adventure Authoring System) is one of them. Still being
around as of 2022 (see [tads.org][3]) and specializing in Interactive
Fiction la Infocom adventures, it offers users the ability to -
relatively easily - create their own complex Interactive Fiction
games.
Since TADS has been a true multiplatform phenomenon since its
inception, a large variety of games have been created with it, [some
of which][4] are already on Macintosh Garden.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC
All of the downloads except DL#7 are most likely 68K-only and
compatible with System 7.x (and possibly even System 6.x and Mac OSs
8.x).
However, DL#7 is dated 1999 and most likely either FAT or PPC, and
therefore compatible with Mac OSs 8.x-9.x.
