How does this translate to the home computer? On your Macintosh, this
effect can best be produced by the quick flashing of messages across
the screen, for 1/10th of a second or less, in combination with sub-
aural messages output through the speakers. These combine to produce
any of the effects available in the Subliminal Messages Control Panel.
Most users will be unable to perceive the images or sounds directly,
although beta testers reported that they could sometimes pick out
messages "from the corner of the eye" or while concentrating on
something else.

DO NOT OVERUSE ANY GIVEN SETTING! In particular, beta testers had
difficulty with Weight Loss, which can cause Anorexia if abused, and
with Pheromone Enhancement, which can adversely effect marital
relations if abused. Consult with your physician before using more
than one application of any setting.
