This program was made for parents and teachers to help students
through the process of writing an essay, short story, creative writing
assignment, book report, biography, etc.
Part of getting students to write often was to encourage them at
different steps in the process so they wouldn't get stuck, get lost or
just give up. This program has many pre-made assignments that walk a
person through the introduction, several supporting point paragraphs,
a rebuttal and a conclusion. When a student doesn't write enough, the
program will ask for more. At the end, the program will put it all
together for printing and saving.
Many of the sample assignments are excellent. There is also an
Assignment Maker program to create new assignments. Assignments can be
made at certain levels for different level students.
I used this with many students who were able to be more successful
with some simple guidance from this program. It is also good for those
who want to write on their own as beginners.
The disks were made using Disk Copy 4.2 and Dropstuff 5.5.
