Top DL above is a Disk Copy 6.x image file of the Strata Vision 3D 4.0
installation software contained in a StuffIt v3.6 archive.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

This installs as a FAT binary (both 68k & PPC code) if you opt for the
"Standard" install it asks if you want 68k or PPC or FAT before
installing. Runs swimmingly on Basilisk II (all screenshots here were
taken on Basilisk II running SSW 7.1.1) Runs just as well in
SheepShaver too it - I did a FAT install and run this software on a
drive file shared between the two: You need to copy the Strata
Vision3D Preferences from the Preferences folder of the 1st System you
install to, to the other to get this to work on both (or more).

From the installation "Read Me" doc:

 * MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
   * Hard-disk drive with at least 20 MB free
   * CD-ROM drive <\--- No CD needed with this install - MTT
   * 8 MB of RAM minimum; 20 MB RAM recommended
   * System 6.0.7 or later; Mac OS 7.0 or later recommended.
   * 680X0 hardware must also include a Floating Point Unit (FPU).
This is also known as a math co-processor on 68030-based machines.

 * FOR POWER MACINTOSH ONLY
   * The Modern Memory Manager also needs to be turned on in order to render images in Vision 3d. On true Power Macintosh machines, this will need to be done only once. But on older Macintosh models with an upgrade card installed, you may forget when switching from 680X0 operation to Power Macintosh mode.

Note: I thought this might cause a problem with SheepShaver, but it
doesn't appear to, so far.
