Great utility application for comparing the resource and data forks of
classic Macintosh software, with the added ability to build update
patches to software that are free to distribute. Combine this with
ResEdit and you have a powerful software update editing environment

* ResCompare v2.6 can also generate patches that are localized for
another language. In addition to US English, ResCompare can
generate patches translated to the following languages:
* German
* Italian
* Swedish
* Danish
* Japanese
* Russian

Architecture: 68k PPC

ResCompare v2.6 requires System 7 or later, plus the Thread Manager.
System 7.5 and later versions automatically include Thread Manager;
[older systems require this Apple?provided extension][1].

ResCompare is a fat application. It will run at native speed on 68k
and PPC Macintosh. Patches generated by ResCompare are still 68k-only,
for compatibility with older Macintoshes.

ResCompare also runs in Classic mode under a PPC Mac OS X 10.4.11 and
earlier.
