   * Minimum System Requirements for Macintosh:
     * A Mac OS computer with a G3 processor.
     * Mac OS X version 10.3 (Panther). Earlier versions of the Mac OS operating system are not supported!
     * 110 MB of free hard disk space.
   * Minimum System Requirements for Windows:
     * A 486 based Intel PC or compatible. A Pentium based PC is recommended.
     * 64 MB RAM. 128 MB RAM is recommended to process greyscale and color images.
     * 120 MB free disk space. 105 MB of disk space suffices when you leave the sample files on the CD-ROM.
     * Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0 operating system.

 * NOTES:
   1. Adobe Reader v.7 is included for Windows users, only. For Mac users, the creators of Readiris Pro 11 deemed the PDF documentation accessible, by using the Preview app as supplied with all Mac OS X installs. So, no supplied Adobe Reader for Mac users.

   2. The Macintosh install set is a universal Intel/PPC Macintosh installation. This release was produced when the Intel Macintosh OS was very new, at 10.4.4 (Tiger). It is unlikely to run on 10.7 (Lion) or newer. I have tested the 2007 DL as running OK on PPC 10.3.8 to Intel 10.6.8 - I have not tested it on systems beyond 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).

   3. The Macintosh 2006 installer app, is PPC native, but installs a Universal Intel/PPC copy of Readiris Pro v.11.5.2.
The Macintosh 2007 installer app is Universal and installs an
Intel/PPC native copy of Readiris Pro v.11.5.9.

   4. Although the PPC Macintosh side is Carbonized, it will not install or run on any classic Mac OS
([Readiris Pro v9.0][6] is required for classic).
