Drivers for the Global Village PowerPort/V.32 family of modems.
Includes software to allow Mac with PowerPort modem to function as a
fax machine as well. PowerPort modems were very popular with the first
generation of PowerBooks as they were one of very few 9600 baud fax
modems that were internal to the PowerBook.
Selecting 'Get Info...' on the PowerPort control panel within the disk
image states that it's a 'PowerPort Software Release 2.0f1', dated
1990-1992.
Download #1: This is a Disk Copy 4.2 image, but due to being zipped,
it has lost its resource fork and therefore Disk Copy will not
recognise the image. You can either add Type 'dImg' and Creator 'dCpy'
using ResEdit, or use download #2 below.
Download #2: As #1 above but properly stuffed and binhexed with
Stuffit Deluxe 5.5.
