PopChar X for Mac is a utility program that quickly lets you access
all kinds of special characters and allows for the convenient addition
of them to any document. No matter what font you're using or which
character you need, you'll find it quickly inside this handy app.
If you want to get the most out of your fonts, then PopChar is the
right tool for you. Most of your fonts contain thousands of
characters, many more than you can access from the keyboard. PopChar
makes "typing" of unusual characters easy without having to remember
keyboard combinations. Whenever you need a special character, PopChar
is there to help. Click the "P" in the menu bar to display a table of
characters. Select the desired character and it instantly appears in
your document.
PopChar works with all modern applications that support Unicode. It

* Download 1: The version 5.1 disk image displays an "image not
recognised" error on my version of MacOS X. I'm not sure if it
works in older versions of MacOS X or is corrupt.
