The Mac was the only platform to receive a port of this Amiga paint
software. Its features include adjustable transparency, wrapping of
selected regions onto 3D objects, and a fully customizable 256-color
palette.
Due to an error at Apple, v1.0 was assigned the creator code PPNT,
which conflicted with PowerPoint. For v1.1, rather than update the
sample art disks with the new code (Ppnt), an applet was included on
the program disk to amend the creator codes of the documents on the
other two. However, the documents can be opened from within Photon
Paint without changing their codes.
