PGP DESKTOP is a security tool that uses cryptography to protect data:

   portions of any drive.
 * Create secure virtual disks.
 * Put files and folders in an encrypted, compressed package for easy
   distribution or backup.
 * Shred (secure delete) sensitive files.
 * Create keypairs.
 * Manage both personal and public keys.
