PCSX2 was officially released on macOS as a 64-bit Intel app
supporting macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later, and is hands-down the
best PS2 emulator around. This emulator is so dominant that it has
[its own Wikipedia article.][1] However, Macs that do not have support
for Metal cannot use the official releases. (All Macs on 10.14 or
later support Metal).

The developer who created the macOS port and the Metal renderer
(TellowKrinkle) also unofficially released 32-bit versions that
supported Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks to macOS 10.14 Mojave. (32-bit Macs
with Core Solo or Core Duo Intel CPUs cannot run 10.9 Mavericks, so
these versions are specifically for 64-bit Intel Macs that cannot be
upgraded).

Also released was a 64-bit version that supports 10.13 or later.

Macs that do not support Metal can run both of these dev versions.

These app bundles were originally [posted by TellowKrinkle on the
PCSX2 forum.][2]

Update:
Also attached are two official releases which are the last ones to
support 10.13 High Sierra and 10.14 Mojave.

Note: If you're using the Metal or Vulkan renderers, set Texture
Preloading to Full in graphics settings.
