I stumbled upon this while browsing archive.org. The disc was for
driver development for the PCI range of PowerMacs (Nitro, TNT and
Tsunami) with Gestalt IDs 67, 68, 69 and 108.
The disc includes install files and a draggable System Folder of Mac
OS 7.5.2a5c2 ("Stubble"). Other interesting contents include two early
versions of Drive Setup named DragonflyLite and Dragonfly as well as
OpenTransport 1.0a2. There is also a prototype rom and related
flash/dump tool. I tried to boot Sheepshaver with the rom but it
crashed immediately.
I took a few screenshots of this booting in Sheepshaver. The first two
desktop shots are from QEMU (emulating a Quadra) as it is very buggy
inside the Sheep. I managed to get one shot inside Sheep at the end.
I'll have to try this on my 7500 sometime.
Thanks to neozeed for sharing this on archive.org. I changed the file
extension from dmg to iso as it appears they imaged this as a CD/DVD
master.
