a.k.a pIllusion is a stand-alone computer graphics application based

features new functions such as super emitter and force field.
> "In "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" we needed to make two of the
> film's characters dissolve away into particles." ~Kevin Kipper,
> Pixel Magic
>
> "In "Despiser" we used particleIllusion to enhance many shots with
> subtle things like smoke or car exhaust. We used it little more
> flamboyantly for some energy-like disintegrations, rocket exhausts
> and shockwaves towards the end of the film. We also used it to
> create swirling hurricane-like cloud formations that were composited
> above a nuclear fireball." ~Philip Cook, Eagle Film
>
> "particleIllusion has helped us in creating alien underwater
> environments, crash landing shuttlecraft, and even in destroying
> Florida! particleIllusion's vast collection of emitter libraries
> gives us a good starting point for almost any effect we need."
> ~Chris Zapara, Eden Film
>
> "The effect in the Star Trek scene, where the Beastie Boys are
> beamed down to appear was created by generating a difference matte
> between the characters and the background. Relying on
> particleIllusion's real time preview feature in particular proved to
> be a major asset." ~Ross Shain, Northern Light Post
